Nice flowing consistency with yummy chunks of spicy goodness. Not the same ajika I remember from USSR times - heaps better! Not salty, not overpowering hot - just right on my shashlik or steak
All of these wines are superb however the pirosmani is one my whole family keeps coming back for.

After visiting Georgia last year we were delighted to be able to source some in Australia. It's refreshing to taste different grape varieties and winemaking. Love the Qvevri wines!
I visited Svaneti in Georgia recently and had this salt. I liked it so much I bought a packet home with me. Once back in stock on this site I'll be buying some more as it is such a great flavour that the whole family loves. Locally, they add to salads, soups, meat etc. I sprinkle it over my cheese and tomato crackers, or eggs etc ... A really delightful flavour.
Back from a trip to Georgia, I looked for a local supplier and an "all natural" white, as I experienced there without my usual reactions to wine. This dry white was fantastic and an excellent example of the clay pot method we learned about. Shared with friends last night and they loved it (photos of label taken!) - so it wasn't just about the 'travel experience' ... it really is great wine.
