A traditional Georgian qvevri wine from Vardisubani, Kakheti, made from a blend of two ancient indigenous Georgian grape varieties - 50% Kisi and 50% Khikhvi.
Produced using the traditional Kakhetian qvevri method, the wine is fermented and matured in clay vessels, allowing extended contact with the grape skins. This creates its beautiful amber colour, distinctive texture and layered character.
Dry, expressive and naturally unfiltered, this is an authentic example of Georgia’s thousands-year-old winemaking tradition. Expect a complex style with dried stone fruit, quince, ripe pear, herbs and gentle spice, balanced by structured tannins and a long, savoury finish. Natural sediment may occur and is part of the wine’s traditional character.
A distinctive Georgian amber wine for anyone wanting to explore something beyond conventional white wine.
