This is an excellent wine overall as is the presentation . Georgian wines are unique as its queveri matured in a traditional manner . Have been to Tbilisi in the autumn of 2024 and lots of excellent wines being sold especially around the Meidan Bazar and also the old town. Am planning another trip to Georgia in October / November of 2027 as it will be the wine harvest season. The Gurashvili is excellent .
This is a very good Georgia wine. It coats the palate smoothly while offering highly elegant floral and old barrels aromas.
This wine offers a full body with bright red fruit, vibrant yet integrated acidity and exceptionally silky tannins.
Compare other similar-priced wines, I strongly recommend this one.
The first taste was unexpectedly good. crisp acidity but not astringent, spice but not stinging, long-lasting aroma, smooth, velvety mouthfeel, well-integrated tannin.
